We're proud to announce that Brazos Valley Live Music Association is supporting Visit College Station in this incredible global celebration for our community for the second year in a row. From patios and public spaces to rooftops and local bars, live music will be happening just about everywhere you turn — and we want YOU to be a part of it. What Is Make Music Day? Make Music Day began in France in 1982 and has since grown into a worldwide phenomenon celebrated in more than 1,000 cities across 120 countries. It happens every year on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, and it's all about sharing the joy of music with your neighbors, for free. From beginners to seasoned professionals, this is a day when anyone can play, and everyone can listen.
